Will the debate go on?
Well....we'll know in a few hours at most if the Presidential debate will go on as scheduled this evening. John McCain is certainly putting "Country first" by saying he will not show up if there is not a resolution in the financial crisis. What does Obama say? SHOCKER! He says he'll show up anyway. Well....it could be funny....Obama flip flops so much, perhaps he could debate himself. I can get a visual of him sitting on one side of a debate table expressing one opinion and then flipping over to the other side of the table for the opposite opinion - that seems to be his M.O. I guess Obama thinks it will look bad to vote "present" as he has on so many other issues - he might actually have to take a stand (and stick with it). I can't imagine even he is so shallow that he would get on a plane to Mississippi with the country in financial crisis. Wait a minute....what am I thinking....of course he would be that shallow! Time will tell......

John McCain realizes that he already has a job and should be tending to that job when there is a crisis in the country not on the campaign trail. Obama prefers to be self-serving and hasn't done his job for the last 2 years anyway, why start now?
You are so right, Carol. It just blew my mind when Obama said that a president should be able to handle a 90 minute debate and a financial crises at the same time. Obviously NOT, because from all reports Obama did nothing but create problems when he did show up regarding the financial crisis. You are right....why start now?
